Project Manager Opportunity in Widnes

DCT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our client's team based in Widnes. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing element, ensuring high-quality business activities with maximum efficiency, service, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Embedding Organizational Values: You will help ensure your colleagues understand that the organization's profits and achievements are reflected in all its operations and activities, including relationships with customers.
  2. Project Execution: The smooth running of the initial enquiry, design, manufacturing organization, and installation team is crucial to your success.
  3. Team Development: Assist senior management in training and developing the team using your previous experiences.
  4. Quality Assurance: Incorporate ISO standards (UKCA) with steelwork projects.
  5. Customer Interaction: Meet customers to discuss their requirements and offer solutions, resulting in contract agreements.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the workshop and fabrication team to ensure they are working to the production plan and meeting/exceeding KPIs.
  7. Supply Chain Management: Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all outsourced processes are completed on time and to the correct quality.
  8. Installation Management: Manage installations to ensure the job is completed on time and to the customer's complete satisfaction.
  9. Project Planning: Effectively utilize the bespoke project planning database to track all jobs and manage costs and budget.
  10. Business Development: In conjunction with the Commercial Director, identify new business opportunities both with new and existing clients.
  11. Project Delivery: Project Management - Quotations/risk management/cost control/quality control/customer sign off.
  12. Performance Management: Consistently manages performance firmly and fairly.

Salary Range: £40,000-£60,000 per year

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 07:30-16:00
