About the Role

The Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead its Clinical Education and Development team. As the Lead Professional for Clinical Education, you will play a crucial role in driving innovative and effective educational programs for healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational strategies and programs for healthcare professionals within the NHS
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality training and educational programs
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior decision makers to identify and understand the educational needs of the Trust and its staff
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in healthcare education and incorporate new techniques, technologies, and methodologies to enhance quality of learning
Requirements
  • Demonstrable masters-level education or equivalent qualification in health/education/leadership-related studies
  • Specialist training/experience in education and/or management and leadership
  • Previous experience of working in an acute healthcare environment
  • Experience in staff training and development at organisational level
  • High-quality leadership and management of staff group and/or service
