Child and Family Support Professional

Join We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) as a Child and Family Support Professional and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children. As part of our team, you will support children in foster care to maintain positive relationships with their birth parents.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating therapeutic family time between children and their parents or other family members.
- Coordinating family time arrangements as directed by court orders.
- Ensuring the safe transportation of children and young people to family time sessions.
- Providing parenting guidance and support during family time.
- Assisting in the preparation of accurate documentation and reports related to children, families, and carers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum NVQ 3 in working with children and families or relevant experience.
- Direct experience working with children, families, and carers in a statutory or voluntary setting.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft packages.
- An understanding of child development principles and the impact of stress and trauma.
- An empathetic and professional approach to engaging with children, families, and carers.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
