Therapeutic Family Time Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Therapeutic Family Time Specialist to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). This rewarding role involves working with vulnerable children in foster care, helping them maintain positive relationships with their birth parents.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating therapeutic family time sessions between children and their parents or other family members.
- Arranging transportation for children and young people to attend family time sessions.
- Providing parenting support and guidance during family time.
- Supporting the completion of accurate documentation, reports, and records related to children, families, and carers.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of services.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum NVQ 3 in working with children and families or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience of working directly with children, families, and carers in a statutory or voluntary setting.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft packages.
- An understanding of child development principles and the impact of stress and trauma.
- An ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and carers.
We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 - £34,000 per annum, based on experience, along with a range of benefits.
