Job Overview

We are seeking a highly specialist speech and language therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Hollies, a specialist inpatient unit for adults with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will have expertise in advanced communication and dysphagia, and will work closely with patients and their carers to deliver specialist learning disability Speech and Language Therapy interventions.

As the clinical lead for The Hollies, you will advise on best practices and have the opportunity to shape the future of speech and language therapy care in our organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Autonomously assessing and managing a caseload of adults with a learning disability
  • Overseeing the delivery of specialist learning disability Speech and Language Therapy interventions
  • Managing all referrals related to communication and/or swallowing difficulties (Dysphagia) within the Adult Learning Disability Inpatient Services

We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, with opportunities for professional development and peer clinical supervision support.
