Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist learning disability services, catering to the needs of individuals with complex mental health requirements. Our inpatient unit at The Cavell Centre in Peterborough offers a comprehensive acute assessment and treatment model, ensuring seamless care pathways for patients.
Our Team
The Learning Disability Community Staff are based at Sand Martin House, working closely with Nurses, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Social Care professionals. Together, we provide diagnostic assessments for dementia and address challenging behaviors, mental disorders, and epilepsy in the learning disability population.
Your Role
As a Specialist Doctor, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge on legislation, national policies, and local procedures related to learning disabilities and mental health. This includes adhering to professional codes of conduct, quality initiatives, and confidentiality guidelines. You will also contribute to the development of our team, providing exceptional patient care and support.
