Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Hollies, a specialist unit providing care for adults with learning disabilities.

As the clinical lead for this service, you will be responsible for advising on best practices and shaping the future of speech and language therapy care.

Key responsibilities include assessing and managing a caseload of adults with complex communication and swallowing difficulties, and overseeing the delivery of specialist learning disability Speech and Language Therapy interventions.

Working closely with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals, you will make a real difference to patient care and contribute to the development of our services.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech and language therapy, with experience working with adults with learning disabilities.

They will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and managing a caseload of adults with complex communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Overseeing the delivery of specialist learning disability Speech and Language Therapy interventions
  • Working closely with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans
