Crest Nicholson Group is seeking an exceptional Chief Data Officer to lead their data-driven strategy. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that drives business growth and improvement.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing data strategies and BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses. They will also possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

As a Chief Data Officer, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI reports, dashboards, and integrations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Synapse, and Azure.
  • Data Scientist and Data Engineering background.
  • Experience in designing and developing data strategies and BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and security principles.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing the BI reporting project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders and IT teams.
