Job Title: Dispatch Team Supervisor

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to oversee the daily operations of our dispatch team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely deployment of engineers and partners across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the dispatch team, ensuring high levels of productivity and morale.
  • Oversee the dispatching of engineers/partners, ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between dispatchers, engineers, clients, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and address any issues promptly.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges, including emergencies, delays, by coordinating with relevant personnel and deploying appropriate resources.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of dispatch activities, quality assurance, and other relevant information for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for dispatch employees to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.


Salary and Benefits: £27,040 per annum, plus up to £1,440 discretionary bonus on successful achievement of monthly KPIs. Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other relevant technology.
  • Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
