About the Role

The Group Head of Infrastructure Operations will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the OSB Group's IT operations. This senior leadership position requires a highly experienced and skilled individual to oversee the Infrastructure Operations team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and the implementation of a total quality management framework.

About the Team

The Infrastructure Operations team is a critical component of the OSB Group's IT infrastructure, responsible for the management and maintenance of server and systems, virtualization and storage, Citrix and SharePoint/web services. The successful candidate will be responsible for directly managing this team, ensuring that each area meets group service levels and maintains the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement infrastructure plans, services, policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the effective delivery of IT services.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that effective controls are in place to protect the OSB Group's IT infrastructure.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase the effectiveness of IT services, including the analysis and interpretation of data to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of a quality improvement framework, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of this framework.
  • Line manage and coach direct reports, including performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration, and recruitment.
  • Act as the Relationship Owner and primary business contact for vendors, ensuring that the day-to-day requirements outlined in the Vendor Management & Outsourcing Policy and the Relationship Owner Operating Standards are met.

What We Offer

The OSB Group offers a competitive salary, ranging from £80,000 to £90,000, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 25%, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, contributory pension, life assurance, and access to private medical insurance and medical cash plan.
