About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Supervisor to join our team at Clancy, a leading construction business in the UK. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing operational teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire and lead operational teams to prioritize safety in all activities.
  • Ensure teams receive adequate training to meet competency and compliance standards.
  • Promote a culture of 'right first time' to reduce customer complaints.
  • Proactively manage future works and programs to minimize disruptions and preventable mistakes.
  • Review and approve contractor method statements and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular safety audits to identify hazards and implement necessary controls.
  • Manage vehicles and drivers to adhere to driving standards policies and the highway code.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with exceptional people management and delivery skills, excellent communication abilities, and diplomacy. Experience in a similar role in the utilities/water sector is desirable, with a health and safety qualification such as IOSH. We welcome applications from operational team leaders seeking their first management role, individuals transitioning from the armed forces, or recent graduates with relevant degrees.
