Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Computing to lead the development of our computing curriculum. This role will involve overseeing the management and strategic direction of the department, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for our students.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive computing curriculum that meets the needs of our students
  • Liaising with teachers and leaders to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of students in computing
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of computing education and best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for computing and education
  • Proven experience in leading a computing team or department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
  • Up-to-date knowledge of computing education and best practices
