Job Title: HLTA - Complex Needs Support Specialist

About the Role:


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated HLTA to support the education and care of children with severe learning difficulties in our specialist hub.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Speech and Language Development: Develop and implement tailored communication strategies to support the speech and language needs of children.
  • Bespoke Curriculum Design: Collaborate with the class teacher to create and deliver individualised curriculums that meet the unique learning needs of each child.
  • Leadership and Support: Direct and guide other staff members in providing exceptional support for the children, promoting a high standard of care and education.
  • Teaching Delivery: Deliver high-quality lessons in the absence of the teacher, maintaining a nurturing and structured learning environment.


Requirements:

  • A qualified HLTA or equivalent experience, with a passion for working with children who have severe learning difficulties.
  • Experience in speech and language development and a commitment to supporting the communication needs of each child.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN and a track record of supporting children with EHCPs.
