About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at AXA XL. As a Senior Risk Management Professional, you will be responsible for performing project risk assessments and providing guidance on security requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and a senior level of professional experience. You will also need to have established knowledge of performing project risk assessments and experience in Information Security technical risk assessments.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year. Location: Ipswich, UK.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading insurance company and contribute to the development of their risk management practices. The role will involve:

  • Reviewing IS Criticality Assessment questionnaires and determining high-level security requirements;
  • Working with assigned architects to ensure security requirements are finalized in design;
  • Reviewing all security requirements and evidence provided by the project manager;

The successful candidate will have expert analytical and reporting skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to create clear, concise presentations. Fluency in English is required, and information security and/or IT industry certification (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC) is preferred.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • Senior level of professional experience;
  • Established knowledge of performing project risk assessments;
  • Experience in Information Security technical risk assessments;
  • Expert analytical and reporting skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Information security and/or IT industry certification (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC).
