About the Role

As a Datacentre Infrastructure Specialist at BT Security, you will be responsible for providing technical direction for the build, delivery, and maintenance of world-class secure platforms. You will work closely with our specialist security team to ensure the design, build, deployment, and support of customer-facing systems meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience integrating systems, networks, or software in on-premises environments, as well as providing 3rd or 4th line support to production datacentre environments. You will work within existing monitoring, observability, and security frameworks to achieve customer requirements.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This includes a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 plus a £5,000 DV bonus and 10% employer pension contribution.

As a Datacentre Infrastructure Specialist, you will contribute to a high-performance culture, empowering others through coaching and development using modern software development methodologies. You will deliver, coordinate, and prioritise activities, responding positively to challenges, using your technical expertise to support you and those around you.

The required skills and qualifications for this position include experience with VMware technologies such as Cloud Foundation, vSAN, or NSX-T, as well as working with monitoring and observability solutions like CheckMK, Telegraf, or Prometheus.
