Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at The Botanist. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, and delivering exceptional food quality to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Kitchen Management: Ensure the kitchen is a safe, fun, and exciting place to work, while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver their best work.
  • Menu Development: Work closely with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they are aligned with the company's brand and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Food Quality: Ensure that all food served meets the company's high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.

Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
