About Our ClientOur client is a leading provider of over-the-counter (OTC) products, offering a range of solutions for consumers worldwide. Their product portfolio includes pain relief, digestive health, allergy relief, vitamins, and minerals.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced National Account Executive to join our team in Reading/Thames Valley Park. As a key member of our commercial function, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key account contacts, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer support.
- Customer Support (50%):
- Complete new line forms and promotional proposal forms
- Co-ordinate and attend external meetings & events
- Build effective relationships with key account contacts
- Work cross-functionally to implement agreed customer plans
- Conduct regular online and in-store audits to review implementation of activity and monitor competitor activity
- Respond to ad-hoc queries and requests
- Internal Account Support (50%):
- Manage invoices and sales analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecast management reports
- Maintain accuracy of team files (contact matrix, trade spend, customer activity plans)
- Co-ordinate internal meetings and events as required
- Project work, such as return on investment analysis
- Experience working as Sales Support for a Commercial Function
- Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally in Sales
- FMCQ experience advantageous
- Ability to manage data accurately, including spreadsheet management
- Effective time management skills
- Intermediate-level Excel skills to interpret sales data and create reports
- Intermediate-level PowerPoint skills to create compelling presentations
- 12-month fixed-term contract with likelihood to extend or go permanent
- Competitive salary circa £35,000 per annum
