Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our team at Watkin Jones. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about precision planning and delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.

About the Role
  • Create, maintain, and update detailed project programmes and schedules to ensure projects run smoothly and meet time and budget targets.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams, project managers, engineers, architects, and design managers to align on project objectives.
  • Produce critical path progress reports, forecasts, and plans for internal teams and stakeholders, highlighting project status, timelines, risks, and proposed mitigation strategies.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in construction planning, ideally within PBSA, BTR, or similar sectors.
  • Proficient in ASTA construction project management software, with a strong understanding of critical path analysis.
  • Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
