Construction Planning Specialist

Are you a highly skilled construction professional seeking a challenging role in project planning and delivery? As a Construction Planning Specialist at Watkin Jones Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our residential projects.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Construction Planning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and reviewing comprehensive project programmes and schedules, ensuring that our projects run smoothly, stay on track, and meet both time and budget targets.
Main Responsibilities- Create, maintain, and update detailed and logic-linked critical path Contract and Target Programmes, method statements, and logistics plans from bid to delivery stages.
- Oversee and manage project timelines, ensuring that each phase is completed on time and within budget, collaborating closely with site teams, project managers, engineers, architects, and design managers to align on project objectives.
- Produce critical path progress reports, forecasts, and plans for internal teams and stakeholders, highlighting project status, timelines, risks, and proposed mitigation strategies.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven experience in construction planning, ideally within PBSA, BTR, or similar sectors.
- Proficient in ASTA construction project management software, with a strong understanding of critical path analysis.
- A meticulous approach to planning and documentation, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
