Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Watkin Jones. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in construction planning, ideally within the PBSA and BTR sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed project programmes and schedules to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams, project managers, engineers, architects, and design managers to align on project objectives.
  • Produce critical path progress reports, forecasts, and plans for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Work alongside the internal Costing team to accurately calculate and allocate resources for each project phase.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction planning, ideally within PBSA or BTR sectors.
  • Proficient in ASTA construction project management software, with a strong understanding of critical path analysis.
  • A team player who can effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • An ability to foresee potential issues and develop solutions swiftly to avoid delays.
  • A meticulous approach to planning and documentation, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
