Job Overview

Elsdon Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling, with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

We are offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Development: Assist in preparing project work programs using Primavera P6 and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Progress Monitoring: Update project schedules regularly to reflect actual progress and resource allocations.
  • Issue Identification: Monitor progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Subcontractor Management: Evaluate subcontractor progress payments and cross-check them with project data.
  • Performance Metrics: Report on schedule performance metrics and project status.
  • Personnel Planning: Collaborate with project management to plan personnel needs.
  • Change Management: Support change management and assist with delay analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze project data and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of planning experience in the contracting sector.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle (design, procurement, construction, commissioning)
