About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Head Chef to join our team at Barchester Healthcare Ltd. As a Regional Bank Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality culinary services to our residents and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards.
  • Work with fresh produce to create delicious and nutritious dishes that meet the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents and patients.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and manage stock control to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent culinary qualifications.
  • Have experience in leading and inspiring a team of chefs.
  • Be knowledgeable about nutrition and able to create menus that cater to different dietary needs.
  • Have a good understanding of HACCP and food safety protocols.
