We are excited to be assisting our client, KCR Solutions, as they embark on a new chapter with ambitious growth plans. As Financial Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for a division within the company and report to the Managing Director. Our client is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their organisation. The position will be based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Operations Manager will include:

  • You will be responsible for providing financial support to senior management, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, providing accurate and timely financial information to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare the quarterly VAT returns and Monthly PAYE returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Year end statutory accounts production, ensuring the company's financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Review, reconcile and forecast capital expenditure, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring the company's financial position is accurately reflected.
  • Cash flow management, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its financial obligations.
  • Budget preparation, working with senior management to develop and implement financial plans.
  • Assisting with business planning, providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Use financial analysis, data trends and market information to anticipate needs, identifies operating/financial issues, and recommends actions to maximise financial return.
  • Overseeing cost control, accounts payable, credit control, accounts receivable areas of finance, ensuring the company's financial resources are used efficiently.
  • Liaise with banks and BACs re cash movements and account management, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Production of monthly profit and loss accounts, providing accurate and timely financial information to inform business decisions.
  • Production of internal management reports, providing insights and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Complete appraisals/job chats with team members to identify development/training needs, ensuring the team is equipped to meet the company's financial goals.
  • Review contracts and agree terms with suppliers, ensuring the company gets the best value for its financial resources.
  • Comply with company finance policies and procedures, ensuring the company's financial operations are in line with industry best practices.
  • Carry out other duties that may be necessary from time to time and ad-hoc projects, ensuring the company's financial goals are met.

The Ideal Financial Operations Manager

  • A driven and ambitious individual with a passion for finance and business.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial operations and management.
  • Qualified Accountant is preferred but not essential, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Profit focused and numerate, with a strong analytical mind and attention to detail.
  • Results orientated, with a strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • IT literate, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.

Office Based - 1 day home working feasible, with a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
