About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team as a Training and Events Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for coordinating training events, managing administration, and providing excellent support to our team.

About You:

You will have significant experience in an administration role, preferably in a client/customer-facing environment, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Your ability to understand the complexities of working in a membership organization will be essential in this position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with a wide range of professionals, including members of the public, chairs, clinicians, teachers, and trainees.
  • Develop and implement efficient administrative procedures that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files securely.
  • Coordinate training events, including publicity, invitations, refreshments, and speakers.
  • Provide detailed administrative support to all aspects of dealing with enquiries from the public to processing formal applications for training.
  • Work closely with the director to provide detailed administrative support to finding teachers, issuing contracts, providing termly schedules to trainees, distributing reading lists, requesting/receiving/distributing reports, and setting up online seminars.
  • Liaise with the clinical services department and placement tutor to collect information about trainees' clinical work.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £18,270 per annum (£30,450 fte), 30 days annual leave (pro-rated 18 days), pension scheme, and a supportive working environment.

Contract Details:

This is a permanent contract, working 21 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends (time off in lieu given). The majority of the work will be home-based with some travel to sites in Newcastle or surrounding areas.
