About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Achieving for Children. As a specialist in paediatric physiotherapy, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex neurodisabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide neurodevelopmental paediatric physiotherapy services to children aged 0 to 18 years with a range of developmental disorders and neurological disabilities.
  • Carry out physiotherapy assessments and use relevant standardized assessments and outcome measures.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, families, carers, and other professionals to maintain a holistic view of the child or young person.
  • Encourage functional independence in relation to gross motor activities through the assessment and prescription of equipment and aids as required.
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc Physiotherapy degree
  • HCPC registration
  • CSP registration
  • Extensive skills and knowledge of working with children and young people with complex neurodisability
  • Excellent ability to plan and prioritize workload and highly skilled in assessment planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment
  • Able to prepare clearly written reports for use by multiple agencies
