About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative physiotherapist to join our dynamic team as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Respiratory. This role will support complex respiratory patients in all our inpatient wards at Kingston Hospital, including ICU, Paediatrics, Surgery, Medicine, and Care of the Elderly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the physiotherapy team in the assessment and treatment of complex respiratory patients.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs for patients with highly complex and/or chronic presentations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Conduct audits and research to drive departmental objectives and facilitate change.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • At least 2 years of experience in respiratory physiotherapy, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Expert knowledge of respiratory conditions, treatment options, and tracheostomy management.
  • Experience in staff supervision, clinical development, and clinical governance.
