About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Riverdale Care Home in Braintree, Essex.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily activities, promoting their dignity and independence, and helping them live happy and healthy lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the needs of our residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive a balanced and nutritious diet
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to provide high-quality care and support

About You

We are looking for an individual who shares our values of compassion, empathy, and respect for others. You will have:

  • A caring nature and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience working with the elderly is desirable but not essential
  • The right to live and work in the UK
