Grief Support Specialist

The National Bereavement Alliance is dedicated to delivering high-quality bereavement services. We are looking for a highly skilled Grief Support Specialist to join our team, providing emotional support and guidance to those affected by loss and trauma.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of bereaved families and individuals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering individual and group support sessions, as well as contributing to the development of new programmes and services.
Responsibilities- Provide specialist bereavement support to children and adults
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver effective support programmes
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A recognised qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, or a related field
- Proven experience working with bereaved populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
We offer a competitive salary range of £29,582 - £31,580 (full-time equivalent), plus NEST pension contributions and 35 days annual leave (pro rata including statutory bank holidays).
