Teledyne UK Limited is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our repair team. As an Avionics Specialist, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of complex electronic systems used in aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies, including functional, operational, and environmental testing.
- Analyse and interpret test data to determine root cause failure of products.
- Enter data and provide written reports on test and troubleshooting findings.
- Read and follow relevant schematic drawings.
- HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Basic mechanical and electronics experience, with an emphasis on electronic skills.
- Knowledge of the principles of electronics and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience testing electronic assemblies using traditional tooling, such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, power supply, function generator, etc.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools and machine shop tools, and equipment such as soldering iron, hand drill, etc.
- Basic MS Office skills, including ability to open and create files in Word, create and manipulate data in Excel, and use email and calendars in Outlook.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including ability to follow written and verbal procedures, instructions, and read schematics.
- Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, unexpected events, or ambiguity, and multi-task to accomplish repair activities to completion.
- Excellent analytical skills and sound judgment to ensure error-free repairs.
