Job Summary:

Teledyne UK Limited is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our repair team. As an Avionics Specialist, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of electronic components and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies using traditional tooling, such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, power supply, function generator, etc.
  • Analyse and interpret test data for component level, and system level repair.
  • Enter data and provide written reports on test and troubleshoot findings.
  • Read and follow relevant schematic drawings.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Basic mechanical and electronics experience, with an emphasis on electronic skills.
  • Knowledge of the principles of electronics and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience testing electronic assemblies using traditional tooling.
  • Experience using a variety of hand tools and machine shop tools, and equipment such as soldering iron, hand drill, etc.
  • Basic MS Office skills including ability to open and create files in Word, create and manipulate data in Excel, and use email and calendars in Outlook.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; follow written and verbal procedures, instructions, read schematics.
  • Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, unexpected events, or ambiguity, and is able to multi-task to accomplish repair activities to completion.
  • Excellent analytical skills and sound judgment to ensure error-free repairs.
