Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts and Administration Assistant to fill a part-time role as maternity cover until January 2026, with the potential to become a permanent position based on business needs.

This dynamic role involves supporting the Assistant Management Accountant in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. Key requirements include experience in finance, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Sage 200.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Enter and reconcile financial data
  • Process bank payments using Sage
  • Support the Purchase Ledger Clerk in payment processing
  • Creditors allocation and payment run coordination
  • Raise sales invoices and handle customer inquiries
  • Manage staff expenses and assist with month-end tasks
  • Perform other duties as required
Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in finance or accounting
  • Ideal experience with Sage 200
  • Excellent Excel skills

The expected hourly rate for this position is £26-32, dependent on experience and qualifications.
