About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Syndicate Operations Associate to join our team in London. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in delivering and maintaining production services that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to facilitate underwriting processes, including delivering new business quotes, renewal terms, and endorsements across all lines of business.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and engage in operational and regulatory reporting.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and contribute to operational change initiatives.
  • Manage account documentation, including quotations, actuarial pricing models, reinsurance contracts, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Ensure underwriting information submitted electronically is stored and updated within service levels.
  • Process underwriting premium corrections efficiently and liaise with underwriters and brokers, as required.
  • Perform data cleansing and input additional risk information, ensuring accuracy in data quality.
  • Complete exception reporting and exceptions clearance to maintain accurate records in our underwriting systems of record.
  • Provide the Claim department with account coverage information as requested.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry; studying towards professional insurance qualifications.
  • General knowledge of commercial insurance products and policies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships across the organization.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Process improvement mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with various applications.
  • Highly motivated, capable of independent work, and very comfortable in a team environment.
  • Detail-focused with a high degree of accuracy in work.
