Senior Syndicate Operations Associate

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-focused Senior Syndicate Operations Associate to join our team at The Travelers Companies, Inc. in London. As a key member of our Underwriting and Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Underwriters and contributing to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Perform data enrichment, importation, and geocoding of location-level risk data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analysis and Monitoring: Analyze and monitor receipts for Schedules of Values and Bordereaux to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Underwriting Support: Prepare underwriting/pricing exhibits in Benchmark Pricing Tool to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Training and Development: Support the delivery of training to the Offshore team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Act ethically at all times and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain our company's reputation.

Requirements

  • Systems and Project Experience: Working knowledge of systems change and project processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-focused and able to maintain a high degree of accuracy in your work.
  • Team Player: Highly motivated and comfortable working in a team environment to achieve common goals.
  • Numeracy and Analytical Skills: Good degree of numeracy and analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in the insurance industry to bring valuable insights and expertise.
