CER Financial is collaborating with a prominent global banking institution seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in Syndicated Loans. This role involves serving as the main liaison and executing middle/front office agency functions in line with financial agreements and internal protocols on a diverse portfolio of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee daily operations and responsibilities within the Agency Middle Office, acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for lending and performing agent duties across various syndicated loan transactions.

· Assist the Team Leader in executing project assignments.

· Provide support to team members within the Agency Middle Office.

· Facilitate the mentoring and management of team and group members.

· Contribute to the formulation and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and controls to meet strategic objectives.

You will be accountable for executing functions as outlined in the financial agreements on behalf of the lending consortium, which includes: managing cash flows, maintaining a register of agreement parties, overseeing lender commitments, tracking agreement activities and accruals, ensuring the safekeeping of security, coordinating amendment and waiver requests, and adhering to procedures related to borrower defaults and security enforcement. Regular interaction with external advisors, such as legal, technical, and insurance professionals, is a standard practice.
