Position: Claims Adjuster at Munich Re Syndicate
Role Overview:
- Oversee and manage incoming claims within the designated claims handling and settlement authority, adhering to established protocols.
- Support International Distribution Companies with their claims processes.
- Collaborate with Claims Agreement Parties, Xchanging, loss adjusters, legal representatives, brokers, underwriting teams, and various third-party experts.
- Document and report claims as necessary.
- Maintain precise and organized records of all claims activities.
- Assist in evaluating open reserves.
- Participate in claims-related meetings.
- Address complaints and coordinate with Compliance, Lloyd's, and FCA.
- Ensure adherence to Lloyd's Minimum Standards and Claims Schemes.
- Promote a culture of good conduct within the organization.
- Adopt a proactive stance in managing claims.
- Handle claims related to Energy, Green Solutions, Liability, Marine, and other business classes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- ACII qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of business operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of company procedures.
- Desire to enhance professional knowledge.
- Solid understanding of claims within the authorized limits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in claims adjustment.
- University degree and/or relevant professional certification.
