Role Overview: Together for Children Sunderland is seeking a skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our team. As a Private Law Social Work Practitioner, you will work directly with vulnerable children and families to advise the family courts on the best course of action.

Salary and Benefits: £36,124 - £45,718 per annum, plus an Essential Car User Allowance: £1,239 per annum and 2% Recruitment and Retention Allowance paid monthly. About the Role: In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will predominantly manage a caseload of private law matters. You will be responsible for completing S.37 reports as directed by the Private Family Law Court, providing case analysis and recommendations to the Court, and collaborating with parents, family networks, partner agencies, and the Court.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Predominantly manage a caseload of private law matters.
  2. Complete S.37 reports as directed by the Private Family Law Court.
  3. Work directly with vulnerable children and families to advise the family courts on the best course of action.
  4. Provide case analysis and recommendations to the Court.
  5. Collaborate with parents, family networks, partner agencies, and the Court.
  6. Demonstrate an understanding of a child's wishes and feelings through direct work.
