**Job Overview**

Tripod Partners is seeking a skilled Child Protection Coordinator to join our Assessment and Safe and Supported Teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding children and promoting their well-being.

**Responsibilities**

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to safeguard children and promote their well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with professionals from various sectors, including police, health, and education, to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection.
  • Provide high-quality casework, including direct work with children and families, and liaison with external agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements.
  • Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required.

**Requirements**

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, MSW).
  • Significant experience in child protection work, including assessments and case management.
  • A strong understanding of child development, safeguarding principles, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals.
  • A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their well-being.
  • A flexible approach to work, including the ability to work outside of standard office hours when required.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £31,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
