Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our Kinship Team within the Fostering Service.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide support and guidance in times of need.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people, while also promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological development.
Key Responsibilities- Assessing and managing risks to children and young people
- Developing and implementing safeguarding plans to protect vulnerable individuals
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on progress
- Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of one year's post-qualifying experience as a social worker
- An excellent understanding of child protection principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
This is a permanent full-time vacancy, offering a competitive salary range of £36,124 - £45,718 per annum, along with a range of benefits including:
