Job Summary: We are seeking an exceptional teaching assistant to support students with Autism and associated behaviour challenges in a specialist school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting independence and personal development while supporting the class teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a positive relationship with pupils to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Promote personal development through various activities.
  • Support the class teacher in daily operations, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
Essential Requirements:
  • GCSE Maths and English qualification at minimum Level 3 / Grade C or equivalent.
  • Relevant teaching assistant experience in a special school environment.
