Job Description: Education Support Worker

Location: Surrey

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience and qualifications Plus £1,000 Welcome bonus *

Hours: 40 hours per week, Term time only Monday to Friday
Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Education Support Worker to join our team in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a special school environment and be able to provide support to students with Autism and associated behavioural and communication difficulties. Duties include: Establishing relationships with pupils, promoting independence and personal development, supporting the Class Teacher and responding to the varying needs of the school. Requirements include GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Level 3 / Grade C or equivalent, Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification and experience of working in a special school environment.
