About the Role
">We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Horley, Surrey.
">The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those with autism, and will work closely with the class teacher to deliver a broad and creative curriculum.
">Key Responsibilities
">Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

- Establishing a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to promote their independence and personal development">
- Supporting the class teacher in all areas of the day-to-day running of the class">
- Responding to the varying and changing needs of the school and adapting to any task presented to achieve the smooth running of the school">
- Promoting pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- GCSE Maths and English qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent">
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)">
- Experience of working in a special school environment (highly desirable)">
- Team TEACH Training (desirable)">
