Supporting Adults with Complex Needs

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work as an Adult Care Worker Apprentice in our Supported Living service. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and mental health issues.
Main Responsibilities- Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting appropriate confidentiality.
- Support service users with meal preparation, laundry duties, cleaning, and social events.
- Maintain accurate notes and records as required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience in supporting adults with complex needs.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
- Commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
- Estimated salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
