About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Child Psychotherapist to join our team at Livewell Southwest. As a Child Psychotherapist - Complex Needs, you will be responsible for providing highly specialist assessment and treatment to children and their families who are experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify underlying causes of their mental health difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these complexities
  • Collaborate with other professionals within the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure professional development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Child Psychotherapy or related field
  • Proven experience working with children and families with complex mental health needs
  • Strong knowledge of psychoanalytic theory and practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
