About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cerebral Palsy Support Worker in Plymouth, Devon. The successful candidate will work with a client in their 20's who has cerebral palsy with other complex needs, requiring 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 support during the night.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with personalised routines to ensure a comfortable and safe living environment.
  • Support with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, is essential.
  • The ability to deal with challenging behaviors and remain patient and empathetic is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
  • A full UK driver's license is required due to the need for transportation.
Salary and Benefits:
