The Tobias Centre is a 7-bed community residential home in Torquay, where we provide support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders. We strive to create an environment that meets individual needs while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and maintaining person-centered support plans, promoting health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed support plans that promote individual health and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Support individuals in financial planning, medication self-administration, and regular health reviews, adhering to the Mental Capacity Act principles.
- Tailor the environment to meet individual needs, ensuring Health and Safety policies are followed.
- Recruit and manage staff through robust induction, supervision, and training processes.
- Deliver outstanding care and support by adhering to Salutem's Quality Assurance framework and embodying core values.
We offer a competitive salary of £27,500 per annum, plus benefits including flexible pay, utility bill savings, and online GP access.
