Pupil Behaviour Intervention Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Pupil Behaviour Intervention Specialist to join our team at a Secondary Alternative Provision school in Preston.
This is a unique opportunity to work with SEMH pupils, developing and implementing strategies to improve behaviour and promote positive relationships.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Pupil Support Manager to deliver and develop approaches to behaviour, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
As a key member of the school community, you will be expected to maintain strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge and understanding of working with challenging behaviour
- Level 2 Numeracy and Level 2 Literacy or GCSE equivalent qualifications
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure or subscription to the DBS Update Service
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
