A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join Castle Employment Agency Ltd, a leading recruitment agency based in the UK. Reporting into the Operations Director, this is a permanent position offering a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits.

As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive health and safety management system
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures
  • Taking ownership of the health and safety improvement plan
  • Establishing relationships with external stakeholders and working closely with internal customers
  • Involvement in departmental continuous improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food sector. You must have an understanding of continuous improvement methods and be able to achieve results without direct authority. A Certified Health & Safety professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels are essential.

This role offers a salary of £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience, great benefits, and is commutable from various locations.
