Health and Safety Manager Opportunity

A leading food manufacturing organisation in North Yorkshire is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Director, this permanent position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive Health and Safety management system
  2. Creating and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
  3. Leading the Health and Safety improvement plan
  4. Building relationships with external stakeholders and collaborating with internal customers
  5. Contributing to the departmental continuous improvement system

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food sector. A Certified Health and Safety professional qualification is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels are essential. The role would suit someone with a background in Health and Safety leadership in an FMCG environment.

This role offers a salary of £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience, great benefits, and the business is commutable from Malton, Guisborough, Pickering, Scarborough, Stokesley, and surrounding areas.
