Health and Safety Manager Opportunity

A leading food manufacturing organisation in North Yorkshire is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Director, this permanent position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Health and Safety management system
  • Implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
  • Lead the Health and Safety improvement plan
  • Establish relationships with external stakeholders and internal customers
  • Contribute to departmental continuous improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food sector. A Certified Health and Safety professional qualification is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels are essential.

This role offers a salary of £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience, great benefits, and is commutable from various locations in North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
