Health and Safety Manager Opportunity

A leading food manufacturing organisation in North Yorkshire is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Director, this permanent position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food sector. A strong understanding of continuous improvement methods and the ability to influence at all levels are essential. A Certified Health and Safety professional qualification is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and maintaining the H&S management system
  2. Creating and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
  3. Leading the Health and Safety improvement plan
  4. Building relationships with external stakeholders and collaborating with internal customers
  5. Contributing to the departmental continuous improvement system

This role offers a salary of £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience, along with great benefits. The business is commutable from Malton, Guisborough, Pickering, Scarborough, Stokesley, and surrounding areas.
